Here's what we were working with - two separate entry points on this home, both relying on old, rotted wood steps that were well past their useful life. The decking was dark, splitting, and honestly a hazard every single time someone walked on it. Something had to change.

We demoed the old structure and got to work on two brand new pressure-treated wood ramps - one off the back patio, one on the side yard entry. The goal was the same at both spots: give this homeowner a safe, stable way to get in and out without worrying about every step. That's not a small thing. That's daily peace of mind.

Building a ramp right takes more than cutting some boards at an angle. We made sure the slope was gradual enough for easy use, set solid posts into the ground for a stable base, and ran continuous handrails on both sides. The baluster spacing on the finished ramps is tight and consistent - that kind of detail matters when someone is depending on this structure every day.

What we ended up with is two clean, well-built ramps that fit the home naturally. Fresh pressure-treated lumber, full railings, and a gentle grade that makes access easy for everyone - whether that's a family member with mobility needs, someone recovering from surgery, or just making daily life easier as the years go on.

This is the kind of work we take seriously. It's not just a deck project - it's something that directly affects how someone lives in their home. If you've got rotted steps, a difficult entry, or a family member who needs safer access, this is exactly the type of exterior upgrade we do right.
